The City of Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Woods and the Village of Grosse Pointe Shores, collectively referred to as "Grosse Pointe" or "The Pointes", encompassing nearly 11 square miles.

The eastern border of Grosse Pointe offers breathtaking views of Lake St Clair. This international waterway covers approximately 400 square miles and connects boaters to all the Great Lakes and ports beyond.
